Kenya Healthcare Federation in partnership with International Finance Corporation (IFC) held an HSME Training meeting at Acacia Hotel in Kisumu.
The training objective was to support small and medium-sized healthcare providers to secure local-currency loans to purchase or lease needed medical equipment.
AMEF aims to improve private sector healthcare delivery by enabling hospitals, clinics, pathology labs and diagnostic imaging centers to acquire the advanced equipment that can improve the quality and reliability of care provided. AMEF has partnered with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) including Phillips, GE, BioMerieux, Karl Storz, Neosoft, Wondfo, Elekta and Getinge to insist on quality, and their local financing partner is Co-operative Bank.
The sessions were highly interactive and engaging with participants providing helpful feedback on improving the program to suit the market needs.
