Kenya Healthcare Federation in partnership with PS Kenya, PharmAccess Foundation and Penda Health curated an end-of-year Health Sector Round-up, Dinner, and Dance held at Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi Upper Hill.
Dr. Wasunna Owino, Country Director PharmAccess gave a spotlight address, highlighting the successes of PharmAccess Foundation towards achieving Universal Health Coverage.
Dr. Margaret Njenga, COO PS Kenya highlighted the successes of PS Kenya in reproductive health including ending gender-based violence and deliverable, sustainable & equitable increase in family planning in Kenya.
Stephanie Koczela, CEO Penda Health gave her keynote speech, giving a brief highlight of Penda Health and the services offered and appreciating KHF leadership.
Dr. Anastasia Nyalita, CEO KHF gave her remarks highlighting our achievements in Public-Private Partnerships, projects, and private public dialogues with all state agencies including the Ministry of Health.
Dr. Kanyenje Gakombe, Chair KHF gave his remarks and stated that the private sector is ready to work with Governor Nairobi County, to transform the healthcare in the county and make Nairobi work.
H.E Johnson Sakaja, Governor Nairobi County gave his remarks on the current state of health in Nairobi county and the gravity of what needs to be done. He highlighted that Nairobi is the 2nd highest county with under 5 mortality rates, a rise in cholera, and diseases which needs to be addressed through sanitation and water management.
