On 21st April, Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF) and Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) handed over PPEs donations to Kajiado County to support the County in the fight against COVID-19 Pandemic. The donation was received by Kajiado County Deputy Governor H.E. Martin Moshisho together with Kajiado CEC for Health Ms. Esther Somoire and other County Government Officials.
The PPEs were donated by Manu Chandaria Foundation through the Kenya Covid-19 Fund as a contribution towards Covid-19 mitigation efforts. Kajiado is the first of the 3 selected counties to benefit from Kshs. 5 Million worth of PPE donations, others being Machakos and Mombasa.
On 22nd April, we handed over PPEs donations to Machakos County to support the County in the fight against COVID-19 Pandemic. The donation was received by Machakos County Governor, His Excellency Dr. Alfred Mutua.
Dr. Mutua thanked the Private Sector for the work they are doing to save lives. He called on all Kenyans to take personal responsibility by strictly observing the Covid-19 Guidelines.
The KHF team was led by KHF CEO Dr. Anastasia Nyalita together with KEPSA DCEO Martha Cheruto, KEPSA PPD Specialist Maingi Muinde and KCCB General Secretariat Jacinta Mutegi.
“We can combat this virus and flatten the curve, but we must first begin by disciplining ourselves by following regulations and restrictions on curfew timelines, hand washing, wearing facemasks and maintaining social distance. I thank the organizations for their noble gesture and call on other institutions to join in helping our people during this pandemic. Covid-19 continues to spread at an alarming rate and we must adhere to laid measures for us to be able to go back to life as we were used to.” His Excellency Dr. Alfred Mutua.
