IT and Communications Specialist
Martin serves as KHF’s Information Technology and Communications Specialist. He has a strong background in computer technology and software engineering, with a degree in Computer Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and a software engineering program at Moringa School. He has experience in UX/UI design, full-stack development (using React and Ruby on Rails), SQL and PostgreSQL, project management, and monitoring and evaluation.
Martin has also completed several training programs and certificates, including a CCNA certification from Kabarak University, Andela’s Front End Development program with Google Africa Certification, as well as a CITI Certificate from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and GCP – Social and Behavioral Research Best Practices for Clinical Research.
Additionally, He has experience volunteering in the sustainable blue economy with the United Nations. Martin also has vast experience in cloud engineering, CCTV installation and configuration, and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance of computers and printers.
Overall, Martin has a diverse skill set and a passion for technology, with experience in both technical and project management roles.
