Program Officer

Linda Obura is a highly skilled and motivated Public Health and Project Management Professional with over 13 years of experience in health system strengthening, access to medicines, disease prevention, and health promotion. Her expertise includes program management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), grant management, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement. She has vast experience working with Ministries of Health across Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Tanzania, as well as with international and national NGOs, to provide technical and programmatic support.

Linda has successfully led many complex projects, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and managing resources efficiently. Her extensive work includes promoting access to ARV medicines, health system strengthening initiatives, and economic empowerment for vulnerable groups. She is known for her strong leadership and ability to foster partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders.

Throughout her career, Linda has demonstrated a proactive approach to problem-solving, capacity development, and strategy implementation, consistently delivering results that improve healthcare delivery and sustainability in East Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Egerton University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in International Public Health at Liverpool John Moores University.
