The 4th Edition of Pharma Logistics Africa (PLA2022)

Kenya Healthcare Federation participated the 4th Edition of Pharma Logistics Africa #PLA2022 organised by the PNYX ltd. The PLA2022 offered a valuable backdrop for high-level discussions, panels, innovations and networking that will provide new opportunities for partnerships between public and private sector and new ideas across the pharma logistics spectrum.

Opening Remarks by #PLA2022 conference chair Dr. Girum Hailu Maheteme, Senior Adviser Intergovernmental Authority on Development Health & Social Development Regional Coordinator for COVID-19 Response in IGAD Region and Dr. Anastasia Nyalita, Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Healthcare Federation highlighting the conference convers all aspects of Local Pharmaceutical Production, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Sustainability and Transparency, Management & Distribution of Medical Products and many more.

KHF Members present at the PLA2022 benefited through leading and participating in panel discussions; and attending as delegates. Dr Amit N. Thakker, Executive Chairman, Africa Health Business led a panel discussion on Re-thinking Africa’s Pharmaceutical Sector – Lessons Learned from Covid-19.

Dr. Winnie Ng’ang’a-Mwangi, Chairperson, Kenya Association of Pharmaceutical Industry (KAPI) led a panel discussion on Africa’s Legal and Regulatory Environment. Dr. Anastasia Nyalita, Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Healthcare Federation led a panel discussion on Building Resilient Public Health Systems & Stronger Pandemic Preparedness and Emergency Response.

Vinod Guptan, Board Director Lead-Supply Chain Committee, Kenya Healthcare Federation led a panel discussion on Management & Distribution of Vaccine & Medical Products To and Within Africa.
