On July 27th 2021, MSP Program held a forum to identify gaps in the training framework for the Community Health Professionals. This forum brought together representatives from Training Institutions and Community Health Services and Development Officers Association (CHESOA).
There was an emphasis of having standards to guide the training of Community Health Professionals. Purposeful efforts towards the harmonization of the design of courses at the institutions will ensure the highest standards of training are achieved. This will be very critical in ensuring that formal recognition and regulation is realized.
