The Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF) Chairman Dr. Amit N. Thakker, Vice Chairman Dr. Elizabeth Wala and CEO Dr. Anastasia Nyalita paid a courtesy call with the Cabinet Secretary Health Mutahi Kagwe to discuss Public Private Collaborations on Health. The Cabinet Secretary is delighted to work with the Private Sector under the Umbrella Organization, KHF on various agenda items.
Some of the priority collaboration areas are around the COVID 19 National Vaccination Programme, Local Manufacturing, Human Resources for Health, UHC policy, NHIF, Pricing of Medical Procedures, Health Products & Technology and Health Infrastructure.
KHF reaffirmed its commitment and support to the COVID 19 National Vaccination Programme amongst other matters.
The meeting was attend by the Cabinet Secretary Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi, MOH PPP Coordinator Mr. Stephen Macharia, Head, Dept. of Health Sector Coordination & International Health Relations Dr. Mary Wangai, KHF Chair Dr. Amit Thakker, KHF vice Chair Dr. Elizabeth Wala, KHF CEO Dr. Anastasia Nyalita and KHF Administrator Ms. Achieng Odundo.
