KHF started with seven founding member organizations in 2004 and has since enjoyed a tremendous growth. The current number of members is 200 drawn from medial associations, professional associations and corporate members.

Advocacy

The provision of an enabling business environment forms the basis of KHF’s mandate. The Federation continuously engages the Government of Kenya and other government agencies on issues relating health policy, taxes, regulations and pricing. KHF has long standing networks and established relationships in several Public Private Dialogue Platforms in which members get to participate and air their views on issues affecting their business and the private health sector in general.

KHF contributes to the PPP agenda via projects and partnerships (for example: PPP-HK).

KHF organizes its own meetings, workshops/events and also partners with leading global event management companies in the health sector and is often able to obtain heavily reduced delegate rates for its members.
